Ninth Day. 24 July 2011

by Joel Emmanuel

This day was quite a stressful day. Woke up early to send Tito Ed to the airport for his Mindanao flight. After that, we went to Evangelista to check the bumper-chin of my car if we can have it installed already, but surprisingly, it wasn’t done yet. Instead, we need to leave the whole bumper of my car to have the skirting molded in it. What a hassle. We left it to the mechanic, and hopefully, we can get it already this week. After that, we decided to go to Greenhills to have lunch. We had lunch at Sizzler’s since Luk Yuen was full that time. Had sizzling pork chop for lunch, and it was huge! The taste was fine as just as what I wanted it. After lunch, Dad and I tried to look for paintings, and luckily, we found some great ones. Bought two paintings and three sketches for our house. After that, we met with Ate Danda&family and had dinner at Luk Yuen before going home. Didn’t eat much since I am on a diet.

On our way home to San Pablo, while driving, I had a little argument with Dad. Even though I raised my voice a little bit, I still thank God for giving me the wisdom to tell my side, which I know that I am right. I thank God for not allowing me to do negative things that time. I thank God for clearing my mind and for letting me see the good side of what happened. I know now what to do next time, and I won’t repeat the things that will make my parents worry about things. Thank You, Lord for the gift of wisdom and understanding.
